50 Cent took to Instagram on Friday (June 21) to expose a hacker who had infiltrated his website and social media accounts to promote a fraudulent cryptocurrency. The rapper clarified that he had no connections to the $GUNIT cryptocurrency that appeared on his platforms earlier in the day. According to 50 Cent, the hacker managed to swindle a massive $300 million by deceiving his followers.

 

“My Twitter & Thisis50.com were hacked. I have no association with this Crypto,” he wrote on Instagram. “Twitter worked quickly to secure my account. Whoever did this made $300 million in 30 minutes.”

 

His Instagram post featured screenshots showing the $GUNIT cryptocurrency, which skyrocketed in market value from under $1 million to an astronomical figure within a short time.
